The reality is I purchased this sweater because I needed to meet the minimum requirement for shipping and threw in something from my favorites with the notion that I’d return said item. That never happened. The second I put this sweater on by A New Day I didn’t want to take it off, and was pleasantly surprised by the fit.
Tunic sweaters are often difficult to find and judge on the hanger or even online. As I mentioned it was an intentional gamble just to get the other items that I needed. Another reason why I picked this sweater up was because of a look I saw on Pinterest – one of my sources of inspiration these days. It doesn’t matter how old the photo is, when you like a look, you like it!
Similar to what I had seen on Pinterest I decided to wear my Express Faux Leather Leggings and my Dr. Marten’s 1460 Boots. I didn’t want to be overwhelmed by leather items for the look so I pulled out my suede moto jacket from Zara. Who knew that I’d still be reaching for it after purchasing the same coat in faux leather!
I really loved the way this look turned out and it is definitely something I can wear straight into the winter with different layers of course. Luckily enough for me, my commute from my bedroom to the living room isn’t far 😉
