We all tend to gravitate towards certain items in our closets all the time, especially when we truly love them. As many tops, shirts, skirts, pants, jeans, sweaters, dresses, shoes, sneakers galore that we have – we wear the same damn things all the time. I know I do, and you probably do too. Lately I’ve been trying to find a new way to restyle some of my favorite items and with this look I’ve managed to do just that.
Fashion trends – they come, they go. What really stays and what should we really pay attention to? Personally, I believe that we should pay attention to the trends that catch our own eye that resonate with our personal style. If 2020 taught me anything, it’s that going braless is one of the most freeing feelings. So why not gravitate towards clothing that offers me just that?
These MIAOU Tommy Pants were such a splurge that I’ve been racking my brain on how I can share them with you all again but in a winter style. The first look I’ve shared is from an early fall style, which I still truly love. But this I wanted to make for more of a winter feel…
Faux leather leggings have always been my most coveted items for the fall/winter. Why? Because you can look stylish and be comfortable all at the same time. Especially nowadays, who the hell has worn actual pants since March? If you have then bless your soul, I’m pretty sure I have worn jeans a hand full of times since the beginning of the year.
Since I have 3 key styles on this blog, I wanted to showcase all 3 of them in these Express Faux Leather leggings!
The reality is I purchased this sweater because I needed to meet the minimum requirement for shipping and threw in something from my favorites with the notion that I’d return said item. That never happened. The second I put this sweater on by A New Day I didn’t want to take it off, and was pleasantly surprised by the fit.
Taking it back to my high school “rocker” days with these pants. Reminiscing of how I HATE labels and a short rant about it.
It all started with an inspiration from Pinterest and my indecision to decide which look I wanted to recreate. I never thought that my indecision would create such a fun look, and something I never considered doing: layering coats. We all have those fun fashion coats which are realistically not warm enough to wear during a frigid day, especially here in New York. So why not layer your favorite coats for a fun (and interesting) look.
Looking chic or stylish in New York City during the winter is often a hell of a task. Do you risk catching a cold to leave your coat open so the world can see your outfit? YES…. depending on the temperature and length of the walk. What I have learned is that you have days where you want to stay warm and other days where you want to look fabulous head to toe. To be quite honest, it is insanely simple to achieve.
Target is my weakness. Who else can agree with the previous sentence? EVERYONE! They have always been my go to for just about everything under the sun, it is often a danger to go to the store without a chaperon. You always walk out with 100 things you didn’t necessarily need but couldn’t walk pass. They have the same effect on you even online. I was looking for another faux fur coat but nothing like I had been seeing all over instagram or on the streets. It was always the same cut, style, and feel. Since I am a giant pain in the ass to myself, I HAD TO FIND SOMETHING DIFFERENT. Target answered my fashion prayers with this coat…
