My latest adventure to the cities of Toronto and Montreal.

When it came to packing for this vacation I did some research. I already had packing cubes from Amazon to make my suitcase look neater and way more organized. Some tips included: making a list, rolling your clothes, packing extra clothes in your carry on (in case the airline loses your luggage), and taking photos of your outfits to make getting dressed a lot easier.
The photos of my looks made things SO MUCH EASIER. I’m sending many thanks to Jen Atkin for sharing this on her Instagram recently. It made my life a lot easier to see the looks and have an extra look… or two or three.
Favorite Swimsuits – bikinis, high waisted, one pieces and more. You can’t go wrong with your seasoned favorites or more affordable trendy styles. I’ve got both!
Clearly, I have a thing for the city of Miami. This time I was here to party… more specifically for my future sister in law’s bachelorette party. When she told me where we were going I was beyond excited, and I knew that I wanted to wear lots of color. I mean I’m in Miami where bright colors are everywhere.
This really pushed me out of my comfort zone in many different ways…
I absolutely live for the month of October, Halloween is by far one of my favorite holidays. These pop-up museums and events have been happening for some time now in New York City, have I gone to any one of them? No. Why? Because I get “Yeah we should go!” and then it never happens. Finally, I was able to convince some amazing people that it was a great idea to go to the Nightmare Machine in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. And let me tell you this, IT DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT! And of course, I dressed up for the occasion…
Have you ever just felt the need to impulsively book a vacation? Where nothing you seem to do can get you out of this funk and maybe it is just time to take a step back to hit the reset button? This is exactly how this trip transpired. I’ve always wanted to visit Miami and this was my chance to do it.

I mentioned I enjoyed mocking myself, and this pun I have used before. This top was a favorite from Zara and I really wanted to use it again in a post. My friend Alison was the BEST PERSON EVER since we decided to drive around shooting some looks, changing in the back seat of a car was a first for me and something I will have to get used to when it comes to banking looks.
Summer is officially over. I declared it the end of summer upon my return from the west coast… with my full intentions on wearing sweaters and jeans and putting my dark nail polish on. Yet I returned and it was suddenly summer mid day, maybe it was too soon of a goodbye. So with that said, here are some of the final summer looks of my California vacation…
Swimming with sharks has always been a dream of mine. When I found a spot to snorkel with sharks in La Jolla San Diego my heart soared. DREAMS COME TRUE! Walking around San Diego felt like a different world. I wore my star print slip on dress that I purchased with Serina. It was perfect for the holiday weekend and walking near the beach. I mean look at that sunset. It was amazing to see in person .. something I’ll never forget.
